Itโs hard to believe, but Relax n Craft is celebrating its 3rd birthday this year! ๐ It feels like just yesterday that I took a leap of faith and launched this jewellery-making subscription box. To commemorate this milestone, I wanted to reflect on how Relax n Craft came to life, the incredible community weโve built together, and how weโve grown over the past three years. The Dream that Almost Never Was
Many years ago, I had a vision. A vision of a subscription box that wasnโt just about buying jewellery-making supplies, but about creating an entire learning experience. I dreamed of a box that was packed with everything youโd need to create beautiful, gemstone jewelleryโwithout needing to add anything extra. All you needed was a basic toolkit, and any specialist tools you might need would arrive in that monthโs box. I wanted to spark creativity by introducing new gemstones and combinations, encouraging crafters to think outside the box and experiment with materials they may not have considered before.
But, like many dreams, it took time to grow. I was terrified to take the leap, worried it might not work or that I wasnโt ready. It was only after years of quietly nurturing the idea that I found the courage to begin. And once I did, everything started to fall into place in the most wonderful way.
This was the first Relax n Craft box that I ever sent out.
From the First Box to a Growing Community
In the beginning, I launched Relax n Craft with 50 subscribers. That was a scary number, but it was also exciting! And here we are, three years later, with 27 of those original subscribers still with us, sharing their love for crafting and learning. Itโs incredible to see so many of you still enjoying the boxes, and I am truly grateful for your support and trust in what weโve created.
Over the years, weโve curated over 100 tutorials, each one carefully designed by industry experts to cater to both beginners and experienced crafters. Weโve also introduced over 25 specialist toolsโtools that are essential for creating high-quality jewellery, tools you might not have had the chance to try otherwise. Each monthโs box is always different, and weโve made sure that no design or concept is ever repeated.

I for one is very pleased you took that leap, these subscription boxes are much much more than that, I first watched you on Jewellery maker channel when I had cellulitis in my foot and couldn’t walk, you was doing chainmaille and you made it look easy so ordered the kit I have never looked back and years later still love chainmaille but you have shown me so so much more, so long may you grow and an big thank you Fleur and to all the designers that make relax n craft great, Happy 3rd birthday and can’t wait to see what is planned for us all, much love.
I joined you 2 months in and havenโt looked back. The reason I didnโt join in the first month was I didnโt believe it could be as good as I expected and it took me two months to take a punt on you. At the time I didnโt realise February was the first month ever. But Iโm so glad I did eventually join, it was so much better than I imagined and all the extras were bonuses, the tutorials and the community. Iโd lost my mojo and I was lost full stop, I was having a difficult time mentally and physically, with various ailments and I donโt want to be too dramatic, but you saved me. Itโs how I truly feel. I’m one of the 27 original subscribers, I remember you mentioning your dream whilst attending a workshop you were holding. I’d just subscribed to another jewellery making box and was very disappointed with the contents, but I knew this would be a subscription box worth having. I’ve loved every box, the quality of the contents is amazing, the tutorials are very easy to follow. If you ever have a question or query on anything there’s the Facebook group that helps as well as Fleur who will also assist. I can’t recommend the bo enough

I have subscribed since the 1st box and really loved ๐the contents.
The box was so good that my husband subscribed from the March box 2022.
Although we havenโt loved every technique it has been brilliant trying them all and finding something new.
Sometimes a box will appeal more than others and my husband and I have been known to appropriate the contents accordingly.
It is wonderful being able to access the tutorials provided by Fleur and the brilliant designers together with the Facebook group, which means that if you have problem or question there is always someone who can help.
Both of us can thoroughly recommend the boxes and may they continue for many years.

Congrats on the 3yr anniversary…I have been with you from the begining…I nearly left because of illnesses but decided to keep with you…sadly I’ve only made 1 piece & as soon as my work bench is cleared,I shall be going at it great guns…I love the boxes & one of the tools I really like is for opening jump rings…something so simple but so needed… I can’t wait to see what comes next & how you grow this…
