This month’s Relax n Craft box celebrates nature, beauty, and mythology. These themes are brought to life through the delicate art of beading. Our March 2025 project is titled “Athena’s Bloom”. It is named after the radiant Greek goddess Antheia, known as the goddess of flowers. She is also linked to blossoms and flourishing growth. Her presence was felt in every bloom. Every budding branch and every verdant landscape echoed her essence. So, it only felt right to honour her with a jewellery design that bursts with organic elegance. It also embodies gemstone magic.

🌸 Why Antheia?
In Greek mythology, Antheia was one of the Charites (or Graces). She was linked to gardens, floral wreaths, and the bloom of life itself. She symbolised not only flowers but also the gentle beauty of nature’s cycle—renewal, abundance, and harmony. This month’s featured project design captures her spirit in both form and colour. The design includes layered floral motifs and a carefully chosen gemstone palette. These elements show her grace and strength.
Every detail of the Antheia’s Bloom necklace was created with this goddess in mind. The flowing shape of the white opal drops reflects her essence. The garden-like colour harmony between greens and pinks is reminiscent of her. It’s soft, feminine, yet grounded—just like Antheia herself.

Tourmaline is also a stone of love and compassion, which fits beautifully with Antheia’s gentle nature. The facets catch the light like morning dew on flower petals—absolutely perfect for soft, intricate beading.
🌙 10x14mm White Opal Top Drilled Drops
These ethereal opal drops bring a dreamy, otherworldly quality to your design. Like moonlight on a garden at night, white opal carries a sense of mystique and beauty. In mythology, opal was believed to contain the essence of all gemstones. It symbolised hope, purity, and transformation. This transformation is like how Antheia transforms the world around her with every bloom.
